If you don't take the time now to become familiar with the likes of Twitter and Facebook soon, you risk extinction like the dinosaurs.
The dictionary gods (Oxford and Merriam-Webster) recently added these social media-inspired words to their vocabulary:
* friend v.To add to a list of personal associates on a website.
* microblog v. To post very short entries on a blog.
* social media n. Websites and applications used for social networking.
* tweet n. Posting made on the social networking site Twitter.
* unfriend v. To remove from a list of personal associates on a website.
I'm also happy to see that I can now use the words automagically, bromance, and cheeseball without fear of being ostracized by the writing world.
